This Privacy Policy explains how Kanaka Durga Ventures LLP (“we”, “us”) collects and processes your personal data when you use www.kanakadurgaventures.com (the “Website”) or buy from us. We act as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.
1. Data we collect
- Identity & contact: name, phone number, email, delivery and billing address.
- Order data: products purchased, amounts, invoices, GSTIN (for business buyers).
- Communications: messages you send via forms, WhatsApp, email or phone.
- Technical: IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, collected through essential cookies.
We do not collect or store card, UPI or bank account credentials. Payments are processed by authorised payment service providers under their own terms.
2. Why we use it
- To process, deliver and support your orders, and issue invoices;
- To respond to enquiries, bulk quotations and grievances;
- To trace and contact you in the event of a product recall under the FSS (Food Recall Procedure) Regulations, 2017;
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations;
- To send offers and recipes — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Consent and your rights
By submitting your details you give consent for the purposes stated. Under the DPDP Act you may: access a summary of your personal data; request correction, completion or erasure; withdraw consent; nominate another person to exercise your rights; and raise a grievance. 4. Sharing
We share data only with courier partners (for delivery), payment service providers, our IT/hosting providers, professional advisers, and government or regulatory authorities (including FSSAI) where required by law. We never sell your personal data.
5. Retention
We keep order and invoice records for as long as required by tax and food-safety law (including traceability records), and other data only as long as needed for the stated purpose.
6. Security
We use reasonable security practices, including HTTPS encryption and access controls. No online transmission is 100% secure; please contact us immediately if you suspect misuse.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies and your browser's local storage to keep your cart. We do not use them to identify you personally.
8. Children
The Website is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly process children's data without verifiable parental consent.
